Clenece Hills, who chairs the city-wide committee that is doing the planning for Lawrence?s 150th anniversary celebration in 2004, will be presenting a program about the sesquicentennial. With two years in the planning, you may be amazed at what this committee has in store for us. The year two thousand four will be an exciting time in Lawrence and you will likely want to participate in some of the activities. Take time to come this Fall and make plans to get involved in the excitement next year.
