Beau Jest will star Tom Bosley as Abe Goldman. Mr. Bosley received two Emmy nominations for his portrayal of Mr. C in Happy Days and a Tony for his role as New York?s mayor LaGuardia in the musical Fiorello.
Sit down to the family dinner party where Sarah Goldman announces: ?Mom, Dad, meet my boyfriend, the doctor.? In this sweetheart of a comedy, the doctor is actually an actor from an escort service hired as a replacement Mr. Right -- who Sarah seems to have already met. Or has she?
Gently poking fun at ethnic family customs, the farcical comings and goings will tie up with a ?Beau? the hopes and dreams of every parent. Variety magazine calls Beau Jest ?funny, clever and charming,? and the Hollywood Reporter applauded the ?delightfully conceived play.?
Programs may be attended by NGSL members only.
