How do you life and hold over 1100 pounds of lights over actors' heads? How does the orchestra get down into the pit? Where is that sound coming from?
Have all your questions answered during this tour of the backstage workings of the Lied Center stage. We'll learn about the mechanics of staging performances, from a string quartet to a Broadway show with cast of 80 actors.
At the time, Drum Drum, a unique contemporary musical group from Australia and the South Pacific, will be moving in and setting up. Perhaps we'll get to see some of what they have to do to get ready for their show later that evening.
