Our final fall history program will be about some of the African Americans of Douglas County (dating back from the time of the Underground Railroad and freed slaves settling in Douglas County to more recent athletes and local citizens who have made a big difference in our community). Our speaker will be Alice Fowler who served on our school board and has been an active contributor to our community.

Cost: $20

Where: Watkins Community Museum, 11th & Massachusetts; free parking in the lot on Vermont or Kentucky.

Preregistration is required for all programs. Programs may be attended by NGSL members and their out-of-town guests.
