Meet Chancellor Bernadette Gray-Little
New Generation Society of Lawrence (NGSL members only)

Thu., Sep. 29, 2011, 10:00am - 11:00am
Location: Dole Institute of Politics

Bernadette Gray-Little became the 17th Chancellor of the University of Kansas in August of 2009.  She came to us from the University of North Carolina where she had served as Professor of Psychology and executive vice chancellor and provost.  Since coming to KU, she has been very busy getting acquainted with the University and its constituents as well as members of the community and the State.  We are pleased that she wants to visit with members of New Generation Society about her goals for KU and the state of the University as she sees it.  She is a native of North Carolina, and received her A.B. from Marywood College in Pennsylvania. Her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are both from St. Louis University in Missouri.  She was a National Research Council-Ford Foundation Senior Fellow and received a Fulbright Fellowship to the University of Copenhagen among many honors.  It will be a pleasure for us to introduce Chancellor Gray-Little to the New Generation Society.
