Mary Ann Rasnak

Director

Hi and welcome to the Academic Achievement and Access Center! I have been director of this Center for almost 12 years and am very proud of the high quality services and exceptional people you will encounter here. Originally from Chicago, I earned bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees at Northern Illinois University where I also taught. After eight years at Iowa State University, I made the move to Lawrence and the transition to being a Jayhawk!

I have to admit that I miss Chicago food (pizza!), shopping (Michigan Avenue), and sports (Cubs and Bears!), but I have learned to love the Royals, Chiefs, and, of course, all Jayhawk sports. I hope you will feel comfortable visiting in person or clicking your way to other features of our web site!
