Leslie Traylor

Administrative Associate Senior

As the Administrative Associate Senior for Tutoring Services, I assist in arranging and coordinating the details that make the program successful. To my work at Tutoring Services, I bring a diverse body of knowledge, skills and experience, from managing editor of a community college literary journal and published poet to active duty service in the US Army, which culminated in a leadership position in Operation Desert Storm.

In July 2006, I moved to Lawrence from Seattle, Washington, where I had completed a Bachelor's in 2004 in Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences: Culture, Literature and the Arts with an emphasis in creative writing at University of Washington. A lifelong learner, I ventured through various experiences that allowed me to follow my quest for knowledge. This led me back to the community that I value most: the university community. My family and I bring our dog, two cats, and the brisk Pacific Northwest weather to the friendly KU community.
