Writing Center Support
There are 60 minute appointments with Graduate Writing Consultants available at both our Anschutz or Watson locations. Schedule a time by using our online appointment system or calling 785.864.2399.
Submit your writing online and receive a response by e-mail within three business days. Available to all KU students and staff during the spring, summer, and fall semesters.
Our graduate student writing groups provide participants with a community of writers as well as a sense of accountability. They complement our other types of support like the Write-Ins (Fall, Spring), and graduate student writing consultations.
Whether you are preparing for your comprehensive exams, writing your dissertation or dissertation prospectus, editing a paper for publication, writing a book review or fellowship application, the Graduate Student Research/Write-Ins can be an ideal space to work on your writing goals.
Additional Writing Support
This group is for graduate students who are working on a dissertation or thesis. The focus is on problem solving, taking positive action, and staying motivated. It is open to students in all graduate programs.
