Holly L. Storkel is an Associate Professor of the Department of Speech-Language-Hearing: Sciences and Disorders at the University of Kansas, Lawrence. She is the director of the Word and Sound Learning Lab. Her current research focuses on how children build a lexicon by examining the acquisition, organization, and processing of novel words and known words. The primary goal is to bring converging evidence to bear on the mutual influence of phonological and lexical development in normal and clinical populations of preschool children.
