Creating Video for Instruction

Workshop Details
Workshop description With new forms of delivery available to students, do you find yourself wanting to incorporate more video -- or even just some short, to-the-point video clips -- into your teaching? IDS will introduce you to its resources, available to Faculty and Support Staff, as well as discuss strategies for effective use of video for your curriculum. This 120-minute hands-on workshop will focus on the technology available through IDS, the software (like iMovie and iDVD) that can accomodate projects, other delivery options, and the instructional and technical consultation you can rely on when working on your project. Whether your needs are to demonstrate new concepts in the classroom, to post media on the Web, or to use video as part of your research, well cover the resources available to you.
