All Access (2-day workshop)

Workshop description All Access is designed as a focused look at Microsoft Access in a hands-on learning environment. No prior knowledge of Access is required. Attendees will learn Access from the ground up. Topics covered include:
  • A discussion of planning a relational database through generating reports you need from your data
  • Database maintenance
  • Building tables
  • Importing data
  • Creating queries
  • Designing forms and reports
  • Automate database functionality with the use of Access macros

If you are new to Access or have wanted to update current database systems you use, All Access will be sure to challenge you and give you the skills you need to manage your data effectively.

Prerequisites
We highly recommend that you attend prerequisite workshops, listed on the right, since familiarity with the skills and concepts taught in them is essential to benefit fully from subsequent workshops.

However, if you have independently learned the skills and concepts of the required workshop(s), your "equivalent skills" will be accepted as a substitute for attending the prerequisite workshop(s).

You are expected to know the commands and concepts listed within the descriptions for the prerequisite workshop. In most cases, you can also refer to workshop handouts and other helpful materials from the workshop description page.

In addition to any specific prerequisites listed, you should have, as a minimum, basic computing skills.
