Elementary Wolof 2

This course is designed as an introduction to wolof language and culture. Wolof is The Predominant language of the West African Country of Senegal, and is spoken by upwards of more than eighty percent of the population. It's also spoken in part of Gambia, Mauritania, and Mali, Senegalese neighbors, and in migrant communities on other African countries, Europe and the US.
Anybody, who is interested to go to Senegal or sub-Saharan Africa, students, searchers, tourists, businessmen, Peace Corps members' etc can take it.

Sutdents will acquire basic skills in Wolof conversation, listening, reading and writing. Most of sources on Wolof are in French, but there are a few available English language resources as well. Course material will consist primarily of photocopies, which will be available from the professor. In addition, the following resources are recommended:
