MINUTES for April 9, 2009 were approved.
Nancy Kinnersley reported that she received nice notes from Regents CEO Reggie Robinson and Chancellor Search Committee chair Drue Jennings following their April 9th presentation to the Faculty Senate.
Discussion of the amendments to the Faculty Senate Rules proposed by the SPPT (Standards and Procedures for Promotion and Tenure) Committee on today’s agenda will be postponed until next fall. Kinnersley has received a number of emails from faculty with questions about the proposal.
Due to the length of the University Senate meeting today, the Open Access Policy will be on the agenda for the April 30 Faculty Senate meeting.
No further business.
Respectfully submitted,
Molly Mulloy
