Research Interests
My research focus is on the development of novel biomaterial scaffolds for the treatment of tracheal stenosis. Specifically, I am developing fibrous, electrospun scaffolds and drug-releasing polymers with the goal of 1) alleviating tracheal defects without the use of autologous or donor tissue and 2) promoting guided regeneration of tracheal cartilage and epithelium.
