Research Interests
My research focuses on the characterization and optimization of novel hydrogel cell scaffolds towards a synthetic cartilage implant. My work involves a combination of hydrogel and polymer chemistry, mechanical engineering, and tissue engineering. I am also interested in the effect of certain biochemical signals on cells encapsulated within the polymer matrix.
