What is SYSTAT?
SYSTAT is a comprehensive statistics and graphics package. SYSTAT includes basic statistics (e.g., descriptive statistics, frequencies, crosstabs, logit models, and correlations) and advanced statistics (e.g., multidimensional scaling, regression, ANOVA, MANOVA, factor analysis, cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, time series). SYSTAT has an excellent graphics interface for data visualization, is quick and easy to use for exploratory work, and has extensive options for presentation graphics. Licenses for version 12 are available for purchase. SYSTAT is compatible with Windows only.
Attention Windows Vista Users! The current version of SYSTAT is compatible with Windows Vista.
SYSTAT costs $100 per license per year for support and free upgrades. The price includes an installation CD upon request (see order form).
A separate license for SYSTAT must be purchased for each personal or KU-owned computer upon which it is to be installed.
KU faculty, staff, and students can purchase SYSTAT for installation on KU-owned or personal machines.
The SYSTAT 12 software that is purchased this year will never expire, so you will not have to renew it in the future. Previously installed versions of SYSTAT that are not renewed will need to be uninstalled.
Renewals or new orders can be completed online by filling out the SYSTAT order form.
SYSTAT can be installed on any KU-owned or personal computer, as long as a separate license is purchased for each computer upon which it is installed.

SYSTAT is currently not installed in computing labs on campus. If you would like to request that it be installed in the public computing labs, please call the IT Customer Service Center at 864-8080 or email itcsc@ku.edu. They will forward your request to Public Computing Services.
