Transport of video is provided by digitizing and compressing the video and sending
it over telephone lines via fiber cable to Ellsworth, where it is switched to another campus location or to the Edwards
campus via microwave. Present video services include:
- Operation and maintenance of satellite downlink systems
- Operation and maintenance of microwave systems servicing the Edwards Campus
- Cable television signal transport
- Video conferencing (compressed, switched, point-to-point ISDN)
- Distance learning
- Point-to-point interconnection of on-campus video-enabled classrooms and conference rooms

between multiple locations across Kansas or around the world reduces
travel requirements and expands your audience and reach. Video
conferencing incorporates video, audio and Microsoft PowerPoint.
