Anne Patterson's sketch selected for ASAI publication
Anne Patterson's sketch, 'Roman Way,' was one of 60 architectural illustrations selected for this year's American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) 'Architecture In Perspective 26' exhibition and publication.
The exhibit debuted at the ASAI's annual conference in Tokyo, Japan which took place Sept 25th-October 2nd 2011.
Architect Magazine covers Center for Design Research building
The University of Kansas’s Center for Design Research (CDR) (CDR) is located on the rolling hills of the former Chamney Farm property on the school’s West Campus in Lawrence. The center, part of KU’s School of Architecture, Design & Planning, was created as an incubator for innovations in building products and services, incorporating interdisciplinary studies in mechanical and computer engineering, business, design, biosciences, health and wellness studies, and the social sciences.
Dean elected president of prestigious architectural research consortium
Keith Diaz Moore, associate dean for graduate studies in the University of Kansas School of Architecture, Design and Planning, was elected earlier this month as president of the Architectural Research Centers Consortium, which is the pre-eminent organization for architectural research.
