The Students for KU Student Leadership Award is an award that recognizes University of Kansas student leaders who have made significant contributions to the enrichment and future success of the University of Kansas. Funding for this award is provided by the philanthropic activities of the Students for KU organization, as sponsored by KU Endowment.
Applicants must be a full-time University of Kansas student, in good standing with the university, at the time of application and disbursement of award, if chosen.
Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 un-weighted scale.
Ideal candidates have demonstrated individual initiative, creativity, responsibility, cooperation, campus enrichment and leadership ability.
Applicants or nominators must show how he or she, or the nominee, has made a significant contribution to the University of Kansas, present and future.
