Build your own Jayhawk!hawkgram

A tangram consists of seven pieces, called tans, which fit together to form a specific shape – in this case, a Jayhawk. To complete the puzzle successfully, all seven pieces must be used, and they may not overlap. Download and print out the pieces here. For an added challenge, time yourself and compare with other Jayhawk fans! (Note: These pieces cannot be used to build a tiger or a wildcat.)

HawkAir Jayhawk Paper Airplane

This bird is lean and loaded and ready to take off. Just click on the download below to send him soaring to your computer. Print him out in full crimson and blue and fold him up for flight. The instructions are right where you need them on the bird — no unfolding necessary between steps. HawkAir likes to fly best when launched straight ahead, on the level. No need to throw him hard but don’t be surprised if he dive-bombs if he spots a Tiger or a Wildcat.
