Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic Receives Gift from the Sutherland Family Fund

The Schiefelbusch Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic received a gift from the Sutherland Family Fund in memory of Plez Miller of Kansas City who died in November, 2007 from complications of ALS. The Sutherland Family gift will purchase two augmentative and alternative communication devices for the Clinic's ALS Loan Bank. These devices will be loaned to individuals with ALS while they wait for their own devices to arrive and to individuals who cannot secure funding for a device. We are most appreciative of this support.
