MLA International Bibliography - The MLA Bibliography covers the years 1963 to the present and includes citations to journal articles from more than 3000 journals, monographs, essays, and dissertations related to research in all modern languages and literatures, literary theory, theatre, film and cultural studies.

HAPI Online - The Hispanic American Periodicals Index contains citations to articles, book reviews, documents, original literary works, and other materials appearing in more than 400 social science and humanities journals published throughout the world. HLAS Online- The Handbook of Latin American Studies is a selective, annotated subject bibliography of journal articles and monographs in the humanities and social sciences. Also available in hardcover format (Reference Z 1605 H23).

Johns Hopkins Guide to Literary Theory & Criticism - searchable database of articles on individual critics and theorists, critical and theoretical schools and movements, and the critical and theoretical innovations of specific countries and historical periods. It also treats related persons and fields that have been shaped by or have themselves shaped literary theory and criticism. Each entry includes a selective primary and secondary bibliography.

Center for Research Libraries (CRL) Catalog - Consists of the online public access catalog (OPAC) of the Center for Research Libraries in Chicago, Illinois, which collects research materials not targeted by other North American research institutions. Materials from CRL are available via Interlibrary Loan.

Historical Abstracts - Covers scholarly literature published between 1955 and the present. It indexes articles from over 2,100 journals (about 900 are published in the U.S.). Materials in many languages are indexed.

Info-Latinoamerica - Bibliographic database that covers business, economics, politics, and related social and cultural issues in Latin America. Many of its records, beginning with 1995, contain full text from the original source, the remainder include indexing and abstracts only. Info-Lantinoamerica is compiled from over 1,500 leading international and domestic newspapers, journals, news magazines, newsletters, and other sources. Approximately 15,000 records are added per year. Dates from 1988.

International Index to the Performing Arts - Provides indexing, abstracts, and selected full-text from many sources, covering film, theatre, dance, stagecraft, television, and more. Full-text ranges from 1864 to the present.

International Medieval Bibliography Online - Index of 300,000 articles in journals and miscellany volumes on the Middle Ages (400-1500). IMB is produced by the International Medieval Institute at the University of Leeds. Fully classified by date, subject and location, and provides full bibliographic records. Also includes conference proceedings, essay collections and Festschriften.

Latin American Database - LADB is a searchable online index of reports and news on a variety of political, economic and social issues.

Lexis-Nexis Academic - Information on current events, sports, business, economics, and reference information for Spain and Latin America. Full text of selected newspaper articles and a foreign language news section.

Literature Resource Center - Information that includes criticism, biographies, bibliographies, work overviews and explications, web sites, periodical articles, compare and contrast pages, full-text author's works, and reading lists. Also contains an encyclopedia of literature.

New York Times: 1851-current file - Provides access to full page and article images with searchable full-text back to the first issue.

Paper of Record - is a global pioneer of searchable newspaper image documents presented in their original published form. It contains a searchable database of over 21 million newspaper image documents from around the world including: UK, USA, Australia, Bahamas, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Ecuador, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain and Mexico. The majority of newspapers covered are from Canada and Mexico, with particularly good coverage of 19th-century Mexican newspapers.

ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Abstracts - Online access to over 2 million dissertations and master's theses, many of which are available in full text for immediate downloading. Citations or abstracts are available for dissertations dating from 1861 and full text online from 1997.

Web of Science - 1993 - . Indexes articles form leading arts and humanities journals. Contains articles and book reviews.

WorldCat - Contains more than 32 million records describing items owned by the KU Libraries and libraries around the world. Includes records for books, films and slides, journals and newspapers (NOT individual articles), manuscripts, maps, musical scores, sound recordings, and videotapes.

World News Connection - Online news service that offers an extensive array of translated and English-language news and information. Particularly effective in its coverage of local media sources for Latin America and Spain.
