Whom to see if you have a question about something in the Department of Spanish and Portuguese:


To inquire about classes in general, find out what your placement scores mean, find out where to take a placement exam, etc.:


To declare a major, or if you have a question or issue about classes in the Spanish major, if you are thinking about studying abroad and need preliminary consultation , etc.


If you have an issue or question about basic language classes or a concern regarding your GTA (SPAN 104-216):

If you have a question about Spanish 324 or 340 and have not yet declared a major:


If you have an issue about classes above the 200 level that cannot be resolved with your professor, please see your advisor: if things are still not clear then you might:


• See the Chair of Undergraduate Studies, Professor Robert E. Bayliss (Wescoe 2626).


If you have a question about the graduate program, how to apply, finances, general information, etc.:


• Please see Ms. Rhonda Rodriguez Cook in the Main Office (2650D Wescoe) .


If you have questions about particular graduate classes, please see your advisor if you are in the Department, or contact the instructor of the class.


If you have an issue or problem about graduate classes or studies that your advisor cannot resolve:


• Please see the Chair of Graduate Studies, Professor Santa Arias (Wescoe 2628).
