Fulbright awarded to Julie Ward, master's student in Spanish and Portuguese

Julie Ward of Ponca City, Oklahoma, is the recipient of a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant grant to teach at the Universidad de Concepción, Chile, during the 2009 academic year and to conduct research. Since its inception in 1946, the Fulbright awards have fostered mutual understanding among nations through educational and cultural exchange. The government-sponsored program offers highly-qualified students the opportunity to study, conduct research, and teach in other countries.
