Research interests: 19th century Russian prose, connections between fiction, religion, and art, the history and culture of Eastern Christianity, Russian and European Romanticism, and the history of fame.
Her article “Cain and Herostratus: Pushkin’s and Shaffer’s Reappropriations of the Mozart Myth” was recently published in The Pushkin Review.
