Mary Anne Jordan received her M.F.A. at Cranbrook Academy of Art in 1985, and her B.F.A. at the University of Michigan in 1981. Her work has been shown nationally and internationally in Japan, Poland, South America and Canada.
She has taught workshops at Arrowmont, Haystack, Splitrock, University
of Iowa, and the Quilt and Surface Design Symposium. Mary Anne's
work has been published in magazines and journals such as "Fiberarts" and
the "Surface Design Journal." Her work is also included
in "The Surface Designer's Art," a book published by
Lark books. Mary Anne was chair of the 1997 Surface Design conference, "Material
Culture," held at the University of Kansas.
