ART | DESIGN | MUSIC AND DANCE
The School of Fine Arts offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate
major programs within three academic departments: the Department
of Art, the Department of Design, and the Department of Music and
Dance.
Undergraduate students may enter Fine Arts directly or as transfer students from KU or other colleges and universities. Transfer students must possess a grade point average of 3.00 or better and be in good standing with their previous institution. Only courses with grades of C or better will be transfered for credit towards degrees offered by the School of Fine Arts.
By permission of the Kansas Board of Regents, application for admission or transfer to programs into the School of Fine Arts may be refused if the available instructional space does not allow the addition of more students. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible.
