Sarah A. Vickery

Sarah, a 1997-2001 Self Fellow, received her Ph.D. in analytical chemistry in 2002. She received a B.A. (1997) in chemistry and English from Kentucky Wesleyan College with a 4.0 GPA. Her Ph.D. research interests included fabricating novel probes for use in near-field microscopy techniques in addition to studying lung surfactant protein B, a protein targeted in Respiratory Distress Syndrome.

Sarah is currently employed at Proctor and Gamble in Baltimore. She is currently president of the Board of Governors of the Society of Self Fellows.
