Timothy D. Nelson

 

Tim is a 2002-2006 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical child psychology. He received a B.A. (2002) in psychology from the University of North Carolina. His current research interests include evidence-based practice in community mental health settings and the evaluation of school-based mental health programs. He is currently working at the Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, providing treatment and assessment services to children and families. After receiving his degree, Tim plans to pursue a career in clinical research and teaching.
