Diana M. Sperger

Diana is a 2005 – 2009 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry. She received a B.A. (2001) in chemistry from College of the Holy Cross. Diana received the Holy Cross Scholarship, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship, Pfizer Summer Research Program Fellowship, and the Takeru Higuchi Predoctoral Fellows award. She previously worked for three years at Pfizer Global Research and Development in Groton, Connecticut. She presented a poster at a national meeting of the American Chemical Society and a paper at the Midwest Organic Solid State Chemistry Symposium. Diana's primary research interest is solid state characterization of pharmaceuticals with focus on solid state NMR. Her long-term goal is to obtain a position in the pharmaceutical industry.
