Diana M. Sperger
| Diana, a 2005 - 2009 Self Fellow, received a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry in 2010. She received a B.A. (2001) in chemistry from College of the Holy Cross. Diana received the Holy Cross Scholarship, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Research Fellowship, Pfizer Summer Research Program Fellowship, and the Takeru Higuchi Predoctoral Fellows award. She previously worked for three years at Pfizer Global Research and Development in Groton, Connecticut. During graduate school Diana presented a poster at a national meeting of the American Chemical Society and a paper at the Midwest Organic Solid State Chemistry Symposium. Diana's primary research interest at KU was solid state characterization of pharmaceuticals with focus on solid state NMR. After leaving KU, Diana worked for one year as a research associate at the University of Kentucky. She is currently a research scientist at Gilead Sciences in Foster City, California. Mentor: Eric J.
