Jay F. Sarthy



Jay is a 2006-2010 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in molecular biosciences. He received a B.S. (2003) in human biology from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois. From 2000 to 2002, he participated in Abbott Laboratories Summer Research Internship. He was a Northwestern University Institute for Neuroscience Summer Fellow in 2003.

Jay has worked as a research assistant at KU, as a research technologist at the Stowers Institute for Medical Research in Kansas City, Missouri, and as a summer fellow at Evanston Hospital Research Institute in Winnetka, Illinois. His current research involves human genetics and biological aging. He is a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
