Quinn G. Long
| Quinn,, a 2004 - 2008 Self Fellow, received a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology in 2010. He received a B.S. (2003) in biology, summa cum laude, from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Quinn's primary research interest is restoration, grassland, and fire ecology. He has conducted field research with Missouri Botanical Gardens, Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Kansas Biological Survey. Quinn's long-term goals are applied restoration and conservation with plans to work in nature reserve management and restoration consulting. After receiving his doctorate, Quinn worked as a post doctoral researcher on the Native Medicinal Plant Research Program at the Kansas Biological Survey. He is currently working for the Center for Conservation and Sustainable Development at the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St. Louis, Missouri.
