Katie L. Lofton

 

Katie is a 1999-2003 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in political science. Katie graduated summa cum laude from the University of Northern Colorado-Greeley with a B.A. (1998) in political science and a B.A. in mathematics with an emphasis in computer science. Katie worked in computer programming for NASA for four summers. Her undergraduate scholarship was an Undergraduate Student Research Project (USRP) scholarship from NASA. Her areas of emphasis are international relations, public policy and methods. Her current area of research is computer simulation modeling using SWARM.
