Brian A. Lobo

 

Brian, a 1997-2001 Self Fellow, completed his Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry in 2002. He received a B.S. (1992) in pharmacy from Rutgers University where he was a member of the Rho Chi Pharmaceutical Honor Society. He has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry, within the research and development divisions of Whitehall-Robins and of Merck and Co. His research has focused on the calorimetric analysis of the interaction of plasmid DNA with a variety of synthetic lipids and polymers that are used as non-viral delivery agents. Brian is currently working for Amylin Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in San Diego, California.
