Karyl B. Leggio
| Karyl is an alumna of the Self Graduate Fellowship (1994-1998). She received a B.S. (1981), with majors in finance and management from Virginia Tech and an MBA (1984) from East Tennessee State University. She received a Ph.D. in business with a concentration in finance from KU in December 1998. Her areas of research are corporate restructuring, mergers, and the impact of deregulation in the utility industries. Karyl was recently named Dean of the Sellinger School of Business and Management at Loyola College in Maryland, Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to that Karyl was Associate Dean for Academic Programs at the Henry W. Bloch School of Business and Public Administration at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. Leggio is a founding member of the Society of Self Fellows and has served as Vice President of the Board of Governors. |
