Oliver Komar

 

Oliver is a 1997-2001 Self Fellow. He received his Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology in 2006. He received a B.A. (1997) magna cum laude from Ohio Wesleyan University where he completed majors in zoology and Spanish in six semesters. Following eight years as the Executive Vice President (and founder) of an educational game/video company in Massachusetts, Oliver started working on conserving biodiversity in the tropics. Oliver is currently the Director for Conservation Science with SalvaNATURA in San Salvador, El Salvador.
