Timothy J. Hubin
| Tim received bachelor's degrees in chemistry and secondary science education from Kansas State University in 1994 before attending KU. He completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry in August 1999 with his dissertation focusing on the development of water-stable transition metal oxidation catalysts. This work has resulted in a number of scientific papers and several patent applications filed jointly with the University of Kansas and Procter & Gamble. Tim recently held a postdoctoral research position at the California Institute of Technology, where he worked on the synthesis and evaluation of novel enzyme activatible MRI contrast agents. Tim is an assistant professor in the Department of Chemistry and Physics at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Tim is a founding member of the Society of Self Fellows and past president of the Board of Governors. Mentor: Daryle H. Busch, Roy A. Roberts Distinguished Professor of Chemistry. |
