Sarah J. Pyszczynski


Sarah is a 2007-2011 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in pharmaceutical chemistry. She received a B.S. (2001) in chemistry, with highest distinction, and a minor in mathematics from the University of Kansas. As an undergraduate, Sarah was a Watkins-Berger Scholar and a May Landis Mathematics Scholar, received the American Institute of Chemists Medal (2001), and was honored for Superior Achievement in Analytical Chemistry (1999-2000).

Sarah worked as a chemist for Pfizer Global Manufacturing in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, from 2002 to 2007. Sarah’s long-term goal is to return to the pharmaceutical industry.
