Erin C. Burger

Erin is a 2002-2006 Self Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in organic chemistry. She received a B.S. (2002) in chemistry with honors and high distinction from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. Erin’s research is in the area of asymmetric catalysis. She is currently developing methods for the transition metal catalyzed Carroll rearrangement. The goal of this project is to provide a new enantioselective route toward the allylation of unstabalized ketone enolates.
