Chadd W. Clary

Chadd , a 2004 - 2008 Self Fellow, received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering in 2009. He received a B.S. (2002) and an M.S. (2005) in mechanical engineering from the University of Kansas. As a graduate student, Chadd was interested in biomechanics, especially of the human knee joint. His research included evaluation of knee prosthetics and knee ligament injuries. Chadd grew up working on his family's farm and held an internship at Koch Industries. After leaving KU Chadd worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Denver in Colorado. He is currently working at DePuy Orthopaedics in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
