Recently, she applied for two grants to facilitate her research in Chile and submitted an article to be considered for publication. In 2002, Resha won the Ebersole award for outstanding seminar paper and first place in the Snyder Book Collecting Contest for her rare collection of clandestine publications by Chilean women. During the summer of 2002, she was the assistant director of KU’s summer language institute in Brazil.

Ultimately, Resha hopes to work as a university professor and literary critic.
