Cory C. Beard

 

Cory completed his Ph.D. in electrical engineering in 1999. He currently is an assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. His research interests involve providing high quality of service to connections on the Internet, especially in the application of telecommunications to disaster recovery operations. Beard is a founding member of the Society of Self Fellows and served as President of the Board of Governors for the 1999-2000 term. Mentor: Victor S. Frost, Dan F.
