Professional Biography
Leslie SchmilleLeslie Schmille is project coordinator for the Living Well with a Disability program. For this project, Schmille trains, facilitates, and coordinates the Living Well with a Disability workshop for community-based organizations to promote health and wellness for people with disabilities and chronic conditions across the state of Kansas.

She also works on the Measurement and Interdependence in Community Living project, assisting with the Community Engagement Initiative. This R-6 project is designed to increase access to health care for people with disabilities.

Schmille began her journey at the RTC/IL as a student office assistant while doing her undergraduate studies in Marketing at the School of Business. She assisted research and production staff in event planning, materials preparation, database marketing, information referral, and other tasks. She also was active in proofreading and copy editing research abstracts.

Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Concentration in Entrepreneurship, from the University of Kansas
