Professional Biography

As office manager, Joan Ring coordinates support services for the staff of the Research and Training Center on Independent Living and other related research projects. A former secondary school English teacher, medical school/hospital librarian, and administrative assistant at the University of Kansas, Ring prepares materials for conferences such as the National Association of Research and Training Centers and aids in studies, particularly the Nobody Left Behind project.
