The Religious Studies minor in the School of Business requires 18 hours of course work in religious studies. Fifteen of the total hours required must be taken in courses numbered 300 and above and eight of these junior-senior hours must be completed in residence at the University. Each student must take at least one of the principle courses in Religious Studies: REL 104, 106, 107, 124, 171 (or honors or junior-level equivalents). Students are advised to enroll in one of the principle courses early in their course work. Students are then required to take at least one class from the other three areas: an overview of Judaism, Christianity, or Islam, an overview of a religious tradition other than Judaism, Christianity or Islam and a course that focuses on religion and ethics.
