of Disaster:
According to the Telegraph
Herald, “Dubuque County received 6 ½ inches of rain in a 2-day period.
Residents awoke Tuesday to backyard lakes, ponding on roadways, basement
lagoons and a nearly continuous stream of rainfall. The cost of property damage
was over a half of a million dollars.”
Reported Injuries, Deaths, and Rescue at the
Site:
The emergency manager was not aware of any
injuries and deaths as a result of the disaster in Dubuque County. However, two
people that did not have mobility impairments had to be traditionally rescued
by a boat because the people had stayed to long after the warning to evacuate.
