Ordering Original and Replacement Diplomas
In order to pickup or have your diploma mailed to you, sign in to the Enroll & Pay system, click on “student center,” then under Academics, click the “other academic” menu bar and select “diploma delivery request. If you need to create an Online ID visit the IT accounts site and click on "Create a KU Online ID". In order to create a KU Online ID, you will need to know your seven-digit KU ID number. If you do not know this number, you may request it by followiung the instructions here: http://www.registrar.ku.edu/enrollment/id_number.shtml
Replacement diplomas utilize the university's current design and contain the signatures of the current chancellor and chair of the Kansas Board of Regents. We are not able to replicate original diploma styles or signatures.
Currently students cannot enter a country other than USA when ordering a diploma. Please send the address to studentrecords@ku.edu and we will ensure your diploma is mailed as requested. Please be aware of the international mail charges listed below.
Diplomas will not be provided for students with financial and other obligations to the University.
Diploma Pickup
Photo ID is required to pick up your diploma; written authorization is required to release diploma to another person; those picking up your diploma must have a photo ID. Diplomas may be picked up in 121 Strong Hall (Lawrence Campus) or Edward's students may request pickup at the Edwards Campus reception desk. Additional time may be required for pickup at Edwards Campus.
The original diploma may be picked up for one year from the date of graduation. After this deadline has passed the original diploma is destroyed and a replacement diploma must be ordered and paid for by the graduate.

Original diplomas will be mailed or available for pick up according to the chart below:

* The University of Kansas has unveiled a new design for its diploma, the first update since 1981. Once ordered, replacement diplomas can take several weeks to arrive on campus.
Diploma Sizes
Diplomas come in two sizes depending on the degree earned.
- Bachelor's and master's degrees measure 8.5" x 11".
- Doctorate Degrees measure 14" x 17".
