Special Student Codes and Courses


Special Students / School Code "OURU"/ Non-degree/ Z Students

School "OURU" is intended to serve persons who do not wish to earn a degree at KU and who wish to take undergraduate courses of their own choosing. Students who already have a degree will not be assigned school code "OURU". They will be admitted as non-degree students and will follow the school's regulations for non-degree students. The Office of Admissions reserves the right to deny admission.


Off-Campus Classes

Off-campus classes can be identified by their location. For example all Edwards Campus courses are listed with a location of "Edwards". Off-campus classes offered by appointment are open only to those students whose academic programs have been completed to date at the same, off-campus location.
