Important Electronic Waste Recycling Notice

As of June 25, 2008, the Environmental Stewardship Program has postponed all campus electronic waste (e-waste) recycling collections until further notice. Campus departments have the option to dispose of e-waste through the usual disposal process. For security reasons, when disposing of CPUs or other magnetic media, ensure that all data is wiped before disposing of the equipment, especially if it is still in working condition. The IT Security Office has provided information on data removal from KU computers, which can be found on their website. Click here for more information.
