Go to http://powerof2.org

Scroll to the bottom of the main page and click on Profiler

At the top of this page you will see the link http://profiler.hprtec.org

Click on this link. It will take you to the Profiler main page.

Click on the link Create a new account (it is in the list of choices on the left side of the screen.

In the box, use as your "District ID" ______________ and then create your account. You will get a pin number for this account. PRINT OUT THIS PAGE AND SAVE IT.

Take the Power of 2 survey on your skills in collaboration. Please be honest about these.

After you take the survey, you see a "badge" that pictures your skill levels. The second badge will show the mean of responses from the class.

Put your cursor on question 1. On the right side of the screen you will see the question and the list of classmates who felt competent in this area. Identify two colleagues from class who feel that they are competent in identifying /facilitating role changes in personnel. E-mail them and ask who in their building has really changed the way they do their job and what caused that change to take place. Print out these emails to turn in.

Go back to the main page of http://powerof2.org and click on the online training. Go to the category Program Development and then look at the activity titled Redefine Personnel Roles. Do the activities in this module. Print out your results.

Go back to your __________________ Profile and view the survey (Don't take it again!)

Look at question 4 by putting your cursor on the number 4 on the badge. Email two students who have found ways to designate time to plan and collaborate. What worked for them? Save these emails to turn in.

Look at the activity Time for Collaboration in the Online Training under the category Program Development and do the activity. Print it out to turn in.

Review the program plans in the module Program Development in the activity titled Program Planning. This is what your group will create for the program planning assignment. Do they give you ideas? Start taking notes on the downloadable worksheet in this module. You can bring them to class as brainstorming for your first planning session which will start in July.

Go back to the main page of Power of 2. Look at two other activity areas and provide a brief review of what was found there and how it could be useful to you.
